Germany is a leading maritime nation. The German maritime industry is one of the most important shipbuilder in Europe and the largest exporter of high-tech marine equipment world-wide.
The maritime branches of the German shipbuilding and marine equipment industries comprise more than 50 shipyards and 400 equipment manufacturers. The special characteristic of German marine industries lies upon its capability to offer made-to-measure solutions at the highest technical standards.
